Community Service

The Local Projects Committee is responsible for projects within the local community such
as skateboard ramp etc.

Specifically The Local Projects Committee will Support the following projects:

  1. District Literacy projects & secure speakers on Literacy especially in March
  2. Existing Reading Assistance programme with Sherwood and review the opportunities with other local schools
  3. District Dental Hygiene programme
  4. Trees for survival programme with Murrays Bay School
  5. N.S. Citizens Advice Bureau with Christmas Boxes
  6. Adopt Mulberry Grove School on Great Barrier Island
  7. Continue with the Post Natal joint venture project with the Inner Wheel Club
  8. In conjunction with the Youth & Vocation Committee, establish a meaningful contact with Rangitoto College
  9. Consider other matters relating to the Community that may be referred to the Community Committee.
